2015 Inspirado, Red Wine, 1.5

Each vintage shows its own personality, and Inspirado becomes a creative effort to bring forth that unique play on Bordeaux-style blends which displays the attributes of the growing season in a complex and nuanced way.  This 2015 Inspirado shows gorgeous dark cherry and spiced plum aromas, along with floral notes, cedar, warm earth notes and a hint of vanilla.  The texture at first sip is broad and soft, with polished tannins and lovely, lingering flavors of plums, root spices, and caramel.

The 2015 vintage yielded a much smaller quantity of grapes than vineyardists might have expected, but the abundance of flavors in the vintage has delighted reviewers, collectors, and consumers in equal share.  Only 20 cases of magnums were produced.
